Over 90 minutes, climb high above the Brisbane River with the city in full view around you. Share a laugh, learn something new and enjoy the energy of the climb as your passionate Climb Leader brings Brisbane and the Story Bridge to life through stories, local knowledge and plenty of personality.

GUIDELINES

KNOW BEFORE YOU CLIMB

SAFETY FIRST, ADVENTURE SECOND!
  • Climbers must weigh under 130 kg due to our specialised safety equipment
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time, ready to check in and start your adventure!
  • All climbers aged 18+ complete a breathalyser test before climbing and must record below 0.05% BAC

 

A LITTLE PAPERWORK FIRST
  • Complete your Declaration Form and disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries or recent surgery
  • Essential medication? Let your Climb Leader know and we’ll make sure it can be carried safely

 

LEAVE THE GADGETS AT BASE
  • Phones, cameras, watches, jewellery and smart/recording glasses must stay at Base in our secure lockers
  • Your Climb Leader will capture the memories!

 

FIND US UNDER THE STORY BRIDGE
  • We’re at 5 Boundary Street, Howard Smith Wharves, directly beneath the Story Bridge
  • You’ll find us between Crystalbrook Vincent and Betty’s Burgers

 

6 TO 100+ – ADVENTURE HAS NO AGE LIMIT!
  • Climbers must be 6+ years old and at least 110 cm tall
  • Ages 6–9 require one accompanying adult per child
  • Ages 10–16 require one accompanying adult per three children

 

75+ AND READY TO CLIMB?
  • Absolutely! You’ll need to comfortably climb stairs independently
  • We recommend a GP Certificate of Fitness completed within three months of your climb

 

PREGNANT AND PLANNING TO CLIMB?
  • Pregnant participants may climb up to 20 weeks
  • We recommend checking with your GP before climbing
  • Please let us know before your climb, as you’ll need to wear a safety harness throughout the experience

 

DRESS COMFY, CLIMB HAPPY
  • Your Climb Suit goes over your clothes, so wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement
  • Fully enclosed, secure, rubber-soled shoes are required
  • We’ll provide your Climb Suit and all required safety equipment

 

RAIN OR SHINE, WE CLIMB!
  • Climbs operate in most weather conditions, including rain, subject to safety and operational requirements
  • Rain jackets are provided when needed – every climb brings a different view!

 

KEEP IT FLEXI!
  • Add Flexi for $35 per person
  • Reschedule your entire booking up to 1 hour before your scheduled Climb
  • Choose a new date within 12 months
  • Your original Climb product and pricing will be honoured
  • Available on eligible direct bookings only
  • Flexi can be used once. T&Cs apply

BOOKINGS & CHANGES
  • All Climb bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure, or 20 minutes before a Twilight Climb
  • Late arrivals will not be permitted to participate and the booking will be forfeited
  • Changes to bookings are subject to our Terms & Conditions

 

WEATHER & OPERATIONS
  • We climb in most weather conditions, including rain
  • Climbs may be delayed, rescheduled or changed due to weather, safety or operational requirements
  • Decisions regarding Climb operations are made by SBAC with guest and team safety as the priority

 

NEED MORE FLEXIBILITY?
  • Add a Flexi Ticket for $35 per person and reschedule your entire booking up to 1 hour before your scheduled Climb
  • Flexi is available on eligible direct bookings and can be used once
